Definitions

  1. Electric current: is the rate of flow of charges round a circuit. Measure in Ampere (A)
  2. Circuit : is any closed loop for flow of electric current.
  3. Potential Difference:  is the work done when one coulomb of charges moves from one point to another. It is measure in volt.
  4. Resistance: is any component that offers opposition to the flow of current in a circuit. It is measured in ohms.
  5. Ampere (A) : is the SI unit of current and is defined as the current flow when one coulomb of charge move in a circuit per second
  6. Resistance in series : this is when two or more resistance are connected end to end
  7. Resistance in parallel : this is when two or more resistance are connected side to side.
