Atomic structures

Atom is made up of three particles

  1. Electron – Negatively charged
  2. Proton – Positively charged
  3. Neutron –  No charges

The nucleus of an atom is made up of both proton and neutron.

The Electron  revolves round the nucleus with an equal force of attraction  from the nucleus.

The respective mass of the Electron, Proton and Neutron are

The Protons and Neutrons are held within the atomic nuclei by the nuclear force.

The negatively charge electrons are held with the atom by the attractive eclectric forces from the positively charges nucleus.

In an uncharged or neutral atom the number of proton is always equal to the number of Electron

The nucleus of the atom contain both Proton and neutron
