Rectilinear Propagation of Light
Rectilinear Propagation of Light is a phenomenon of light travelling in a straight line.
The picture above proves the phenomenon of light travelling in a straight line. This is called rectilinear propagation of light. The ray from the candle passes through parallel holes made in three cardboards. The ray of light is seen after the third hole in the third cardboard.
Shadow and eclipses are the two natural effects of rectilinear propagation of light.
