Absolute Zero of Temperature.
In the Charles’ Law, if the graph of the volume against temperature is extended to meet the temperature axis , the straight line graph meets this axis at -273 degree Centigrade. This temperature is called Absolute zero.
Absolute zero can be defined as the temperature at which the volume of a given mass of gas is theoretically zero.
Practically the volume cannot be zero because the gas liquefied before it reaches this temperature.
Theoretically, absolute zero is the lowest possible temperature attainable by the gas.
The unit of absolute zero is Kelvin.
