AN IDEAL MACHINE

An ideal machine is a machine with  efficiency of  one  or 100%

Most machines will have their efficiency less than 100%  because of the frictional forces and conversion to heat energy due to the friction.

Therefore the efficiency of a practical machine  is always less than 100% .
