Aneroid Barometer
The Aneroid Barometer is a barometer that works without mercury or liquid. It is compact and convenient to carry compare to other barometer.
Changes in atmospheric pressure causes the thin slides of the partially evacuated metal box to move in or out. This movement is transmitted by a spring and levers as shown in the diagram above . The levers move the pointer which moves over a graduated scale.
